Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that a significant portion of the current opposition in the country is aligned with foreign interests. Many of its representatives, according to the head of government, effectively act as foreign emissaries.
The Dagestan police have clarified information about the shootout that took place in Makhachkala on May 5. Two unknown individuals attacked a traffic police unit on Kerimov Street and opened fire.
As a result, two police officers were killed and two more were injured. In addition, three civilians were injured. Among them were a 40-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl. The police managed to neutralize the attackers with return fire.
The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, noted that the shootout began after an attempt to stop the car: the driver did not comply and started shooting. A criminal case has been opened under three articles: attempt on the life of law enforcement officers, hijacking without the purpose of theft, and illegal arms trafficking.
