Baku has considered a petition from the investigation to extend the term of imprisonment of public activist Bakhtiyar Hajiyev in connection with new charges brought against him.

A cassation was sent to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation in the case of a native of Ingushetia, Abo Dobriev, who was sentenced to life in 2021. The defense claims that the accusation is based on the testimony of a witness who slandered the man and is not supported by other evidence.

A native of Ingushetia, Abdul-Malik Albagachiev, who is being held in colony No. 10 of Astrakhan, suffers from epilepsy and headaches. Before his arrest, he was an absolutely healthy person, according to his mother.

On June 22, 2001, at dawn, a resident of the village of Gekhi, Urus-Martan district, Ruslan Khuseinovich Shakhtamirov, born in 1975, was killed from automatic weapons. Residents of the settlement testify that the crime was committed by the Russian military.

He demands that the same terms be set for programmer Kemal Tambiyev and the head of the Ansar charitable foundation, Abubakar Rizvanov, who are involved in the case together with Gadzhiev.
