Crimean Tatar political prisoners Timur Yalkabov and Eldar Kantimirov were placed in Dimitrovgrad prison in Ulyanovsk region. This is reported by «Crimean solidarity». 

The Government of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria in Exile, together with representatives of the Vainakh diaspora in Europe, will hold events on 25 February on the forced deportation of Chechens and Ingush.

Today supporters of Mikheil Saakashvili went to the Georgian Government Chancellery building for a protest rally. They again demanded the release of the ex-president of the country and his release for treatment abroad.

Public activist Baku Bakhtiyar Hajiyev continues his hunger strike for 42 days. Meanwhile, since February 16, he went on a dry hunger strike.

Zarema Musayeva’s lawyers challenged the presiding judge, Musa Vagapov. The defence argued that he belonged to the panel of the Supreme Court of Chechnya and that his son worked for the Prosecutor’s Office. The applicants were rejected immediately.

After visiting former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili in a Tbilisi clinic, a council of doctors noted a deterioration in his health. He continues to lose weight, and treatment is symptomatic.

Three of the five students returned to Novocherkassk Medical College. In January, they were expelled for wearing a hijab.

Kemran Agabekov was ordered to pay a fine of 50,000 rubles by the court in Makhachkala. Since September 2022, he was also in the pre-trial detention centre.
