Chechnya Among the Regions Leading in Housing Construction Per Capita

In 2025, the Leningrad Region, Tyumen Region, and Altai Region were the leading regions in terms of housing construction per capita. The Chechen Republic ranked fourth in the national ranking.

In Chechnya, 2,635,000 square meters of housing were commissioned, amounting to 1,672 square meters per capita. These data are presented in the published RIA Novosti rating. Other regions of the North Caucasus Federal District ranked as follows: Karachay-Cherkessia ranked 24th, Kabardino-Balkaria ranked 33rd, North Ossetia ranked 36th, Stavropol Krai ranked 42nd, Dagestan ranked 60th, and Ingushetia ranked 77th.

The largest decline in housing completions among all Russian regions was recorded in Dagestan (-42.4%). Meanwhile, Ingushetia demonstrated significant growth in completed housing (+25.2%), ranking first in the North Caucasus Federal District and eighth in Russia.

Across the Russian Federation as a whole, 108.1 million square meters of housing will be completed in 2025, representing a 0.4% increase over the 2024 target.
