Following Vladimir Putin, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko warned Armenia about the risks of rapprochement with the European Union, accused the country's leadership of "political gamesmanship" before the elections, and hinted at the influence of European politicians on the situation in the republic.
Ingushetia Became the Region with the Most Increased Gasoline Prices
In September 2025, Ingushetia experienced the most significant increase in consumer gasoline prices among Russian regions. According to Rosstat, they increased by 8.5% in the republic compared to August, more than three times the national average of 2.6%.
By comparison, prices in Moscow and St. Petersburg increased by 1% and 1.5%, respectively.
It was also reported that producer gasoline prices in September increased by 4.7% across Russia on average, with the largest increases recorded in Tatarstan (15.1%), Kemerovo (13%), and Tyumen (10.9%). Regions that saw price decreases included Perm Krai, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, and the Komi Republic.
