Kadyrov boasted about the multiple reduction of unemployment in Chechnya

Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov announced impressive progress in reducing unemployment. According to him, this figure fell from 76% in 2007, when he headed the republic, to 4.5%.

At the same time, the population of Chechnya has grown significantly during this period - from 950 thousand to 1.5 million people. Kadyrov believes that further reduction of unemployment will be facilitated by business development, an increase in the influx of tourists and the implementation of large investment projects.
