The population of the North Caucasus is recognized as the most financially disadvantaged

Chechnya, Karachay-Cherkessia and Ingushetia are among the ten most financially disadvantaged regions of the Russian Federation in terms of the standard of living of the population. According to this indicator, the republics took 80th, 83rd and 85th places, respectively. RIA Rating reports this.
 
When preparing the rating, experts took into account the ratio of the median income of residents of the region to the cost of a set of goods and services, the volume of bank deposits per capita, the share of poor families and citizens with high incomes.

The first places in the ranking are occupied by the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Magadan Region and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The top ten also included the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Moscow, Sakhalin Region, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, St. Petersburg, Murmansk Region and Kamchatka Territory.
