The highest rate on mortgage loans was recorded in Chechnya

In Chechnya, the mortgage rate reached 11.4% in March. This is the highest figure in the country according to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. In second place was Karachay-Cherkessia - 9.8%.

This is followed by Saratov and Kemerovo (9.1%), Samara (9.1%) and Omsk (9%) regions and Kabardino-Balkaria (9%). The lowest cost of a housing loan in March was recorded in the Amur Region - 6.1%.

The average mortgage rate across the country reached 8.1% in March, the highest level since April 2020.
