Elena Patyaeva—a friend of Seda Suleymanova, who disappeared three years ago after being forcibly returned from St. Petersburg to Chechnya—was detained in Grozny. On August 23, Patyaeva stood by the monument to journalists who died for freedom of speech, holding a sign that read: "I demand an investigation into the murder of Seda Suleymanova." The smallest payments on mortgage loans are made by residents of Chechnya (10.4 thousand rubles per month) and Ingushetia (10.9 thousand rubles). The highest mortgage payments in relation to income were recorded among residents of Karachay-Cherkessia (paying on average about 92% of monthly earnings), Tuva (83%) and North Ossetia (78%).
The highest average payment among Muscovites is 58.7 thousand rubles. per month. Residents of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (41.5 thousand rubles) and St. Petersburg (38.9 thousand rubles) pay slightly less.
The average income of borrowers for all mortgage programs in the Russian Federation last year was 54.3 thousand rubles, and for preferential ones - 58.6 thousand rubles.
