The lowest salaries for doctors are recorded in the North Caucasus

The lowest paid doctors in state medical institutions work in Ingushetia. They receive an average of 52.6 thousand rubles per month, according to official data from Rosstat. This is the last (85th) place in the country for this indicator.

In penultimate (84th place) according to this indicator was North Ossetia with an average doctor’s salary of 56.5 thousand rubles, Karachay-Cherkessia (56.9 thousand rubles) in 83rd place, and Kabardino-Cherkessia in 82nd place. Balkaria (57 thousand). The 78th and 79th positions were occupied by Dagestan and Chechnya (61.1 thousand rubles).

The leaders in average salaries of medical staff with higher qualifications are Chukotka (251 thousand rubles), Yamal (246 thousand) and Nenets Autonomous Okrug (191 thousand). The national average salary of a doctor in a public medical institution was 106.3 thousand rubles.
