Among Russians, residents of the North Caucasus can buy the least amount of gasoline with their salary

RIA Novosti experts have compiled a rating of Russian regions based on the availability of motor fuel for the population, calculating the amount of gasoline that residents can buy with their average monthly salaries. It turned out that 92-octane gasoline is the least affordable in the North Caucasus.

Thus, a resident of Ingushetia can afford to buy 633 liters per month. In Chechnya, this figure is 683, in Dagestan - 697, in Kabardino-Balkaria - 710, in Karachay-Cherkessia - 717, in North Ossetia - 732. These are the last places in the rating.

Stavropol Krai is in 72nd place with an indicator of 836 liters.

The leaders are the northern regions and the capital of Russia. A resident of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Moscow and the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug can buy more than two thousand liters of gasoline.

In the first half of 2024, gasoline prices rose. The cost of AI-92 in June in the country as a whole became 2.8% higher than in December 2023. During this period, the cost of gasoline increased in 76 subjects of the Russian Federation, in one it did not change and in eight it decreased.
