More than a third of families in Chechnya live in poverty

Out of 326,000 families living in Chechnya, 107,000 have incomes below the subsistence minimum, i.e. below 13 thousand rubles per month. In fact, it is a state of poverty. Such figures are noted in the regional program "Decrease in the share of the population with incomes below the subsistence level in the Chechen Republic"

The average income of low-income families with many children in Chechnya (with three to five children) ranges from 13,000 to 20,000 rubles.

The program states that a high level of poverty is concentrated in families with children. At the same time, the material security of the poor does not grow in proportion to the growth of the dependent burden, respectively, families with many children have great difficulties.
