At the same time, the cost of a square meter of housing can reach 200 thousand rubles, said the chairman of the Guild of Builders of the North Caucasus Federal District, Ali Shakhbanov.

In addition, according to him, only 3.4% of families can afford to buy an apartment at a market mortgage rate. And a family with one child will have to save up for 14 years for a typical 2-room apartment at current prices.

The average salary in the construction industry of Dagestan varies from 21.5 to 53.1 thousand rubles. In this area, there is a shortage of personnel, in particular concrete workers, reinforcement workers, monolithists, finishers, welders and masons.
