In Ingushetia, there are delays in public sector employee pay

In Ingushetia, there have been cases of non-payment of December wages to employees of a number of public sector organizations, including hospitals and community centers.

According to a statement from the Ingush government published on December 30, at the direction of the head of the republic, the Ministry of Finance took measures to ensure that institutions had the necessary funds to pay December wages. It was stated that funds were promptly transferred to general education and preschool institutions, and payments to the remaining employees were scheduled for December 31.

It is worth noting that, as Rostrud explained in October 2025, in accordance with Article 136 of the Russian Federation Labor Code, if a wage payment day coincides with a weekend or non-working holiday, the payment must be made the day before. Considering that December 31, 2025, was a day off, and the New Year holidays last until January 11, the payment date in this case should have been December 30.
