Apartments under construction in the North Caucasus Federal District are larger in area than the Russian average
According to the analytical review of ERZ.RF, apartments of larger area are being built in the regions of the North Caucasus than the national average. North Ossetia entered the TOP-5 regions with an indicator of 62.5 sq. m. It was second only to Ingushetia (81.4 sq. m), Chechnya (74.5 sq. m) and Kabardino-Balkaria (64.6 sq. m).
 
In general, in Russia, the average apartment area is 49.1 sq. m, which is 0.5 percentage points less than two years ago.
 
The Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation proposed to increase the average market price of 1 sq. m of housing in the third quarter of 2024 by 11% compared to the first quarter. In the regions of the North Caucasus, the average market price may increase from 10% to 34%.
