The volume of online purchases has grown significantly in the North Caucasus Federal District

Online trade in the North Caucasus Federal District is experiencing rapid growth. In the first half of 2025, the volume of online sales increased by 55% compared to the same period last year, reaching 177 billion rubles.

The largest jump was recorded in Chechnya, where the figures increased almost threefold. At the same time, Karachay-Cherkessia leads in the share of online purchases in the total volume of retail sales - it makes up a third of all purchases. Stavropol Krai leads in terms of the total amount of money spent. The most popular category of goods in online trade in the North Caucasus Federal District is clothing and footwear (almost 17%), followed by food (16.4%).
