In the village of Shaitli in the Tsuntinsky District, an avalanche hit, covering two houses. According to the Dagestan Ministry of Emergency Situations, a woman and child were trapped under the snow, and evacuations are underway.

The death toll from the massive flooding in Dagestan, triggered by heavy rainfall, has reached seven. The Investigative Committee has opened two criminal cases for causing death by negligence (Article 109 of the Russian Criminal Code).

A 200-meter-long landslide occurred in the village of Ilskhan-Yurt in the Kurchaloy District of the Chechen Republic. Eight houses were damaged. Round-the-clock monitoring of residential buildings continues, according to a district administration representative.
