The Prime Minister of Georgia reacted sharply to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio's statement about Washington's ability to influence the policies of the Georgian authorities.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced the allocation of over €50 million in financial assistance to Armenia. This measure is prompted by Russia's actions, which imposed restrictions on the import of Armenian products. Von der Leyen issued the corresponding statement following a conversation with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Representatives of the Russian opposition staged a performance outside the Russian Embassy in Yerevan. Wearing masks of Vladimir Putin, they staged a dinner with raw meat. Speaking to residents of the village of Lchashen during his election campaign, he announced that the government will develop subsidy and assistance programs for enterprises whose export activities face unjustified obstacles.

The Tbilisi City Court has arrested journalist Irakli Chikhladze, accused of espionage. He is also facing charges in the same case against pro-Russian activist and head of the Eurasia Institute, Gulbaat Rtskhiladze. Both were detained by the Georgian State Security Service on May 30.
