A demonstration against the adoption of the bill on foreign agents is taking place outside the parliament building in Tbilisi. Participants unfurled the EU flag. The protesters are chanting the slogans “No to the Russian law”, “No to the Russian dream”.

Russians entering Georgia are not controlled in any way, and there may be secret service agents among them. This was stated by the country's President Salome Zurabishvili.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz criticized the bill on foreign agents initiated by the ruling Georgian Dream party. This happened at a joint press conference in Berlin after a meeting with Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

Closed hearings on the issue of border delimitation with Azerbaijan were held in the Armenian parliament. Speaker Alen Simonyan did not rule out the possibility of refusing to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.

Answering a question about the impact of the law on foreign agents initiated by the Georgian authorities, EU Ambassador to Georgia Pavel Gerchinsky said that it is incompatible with European norms and values.

Armenia does not want to argue with Russia, but relations with it are being transformed. Now there is a transition from relations between “historical Armenia” and Russia to relations between “real Armenia” and Russia. This is sometimes as painful as the internal transformation in Armenia itself. This statement was made in parliament in Yerevan by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

A rally is taking place on the First Republic Square in Tbilisi against the law on foreign agents being discussed by the ruling party and the government. From here the march “Yes to Europe!” will begin. No to Russian law,” participants will move towards parliament.

Opponents of the law on foreign agents initiated by the ruling party of Georgia recalled that many representatives of the country's authorities were themselves members of foreign foundations.

The Russian Foreign Ministry assessed the US-EU-Armenia meeting as “another attempt by the “collective West” to drag the South Caucasus into a geopolitical confrontation.”
