In honor of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr, March 19, 20, and 21 have been declared days off in Ingushetia. According to the head of the republic, Makhmud-Ali Klimatov, this decision was made to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan, which began on February 17.

Three additional days off – March 19, 20, and 21 – will be granted to residents of the Chechen Republic to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The decision was made based on an appeal from the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Chechnya.

The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation (SAM RF) has ruled that Muslim couriers are prohibited from delivering certain goods that violate Islamic norms. These include alcohol, pork, meat that does not meet halal standards, as well as gambling and objects of pagan worship.

Russian nationalists welcome the recognition of the dictionary "Islam in the North Caucasus" as extremist. Against the backdrop of this decision, the leader of the "Russian Community" organization Andrei Tkachuk stated that the activities of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Russia may also fall under the law.
