All regions of Russia's North Caucasus were among the country's regions where motor third-party liability insurance payouts, including insurers' operating expenses, reached or exceeded the amount of premiums collected. The most severe situation was recorded in Ingushetia, where the ratio reached 467%, according to data from the Russian Union of Motor Insurers (RUA).

Chechnya and Ingushetia have ranked among the lowest Russian regions by the share of workers earning more than the national average. In both republics, only 5.8% of employees earn above the country's average salary, according to a study by RIA Novosti.

Farmers from the villages of Khandjyan and Atsik in Armenia's Armavir region blocked the Armavir–Yerevan highway, demanding a solution to the problem of selling their peach harvest. Buyers are offering around 100 drams per kilogram—approximately 23 rubles—whereas farmers consider a price of at least 150 drams to be acceptable.

New car sales across Russia’s North Caucasus fell by 21% in July compared with the same month last year. The sharpest decline was recorded in Dagestan, where the new-car market nearly halved over the year.
