In the Staropromyslovsky district of Grozny, Russian military personnel carried out a “cleansing operation.” At the same time, they did not comply with the order of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation No. 46 of July 27, 2001: employees of the administration, prosecutor’s office, and local police department were not present during the operations.

At 7.30 in Grozny, not far from a furniture factory on B. Khmelnitsky Street, an explosion was heard. As it turned out later, sappers discovered and detonated a landmine.

On the night of November 20, the village of Pobedinskoye came under artillery fire. One of the shells exploded near a checkpoint in the courtyard of a private house.

At about 9 p.m., 50-year-old Kharon Gandaev was kidnapped while returning from a neighbor living two houses down on his street. About three hours later, Zaur Sultanovich Abazov, born 1985, Zaurbek Vakhaevich Israpilov, born 1987 (1988), Ismail Sulimanovich Dakaev, born 1985, were kidnapped. The fifth person, Altemirov, about whom practically nothing is known except his last name, was taken away from the village later than everyone else.

At 10.30 on Zhukovsky Street in Grozny, near the “Banya” stop, unknown persons attempted to blow up an armored personnel carrier. The military opened random fire from machine guns in different directions. Whether intentionally or accidentally, a city bus on route 29 passing by also came under fire. The driver was seriously injured, but managed to drive the bus to safety and stop it. The name and place of residence of the deceased driver of the Memorial Human Rights Center are unknown.

Between approximately November 15 and 18, Russian soldiers, some of whom were wearing masks, took away Shakhran Shaptievich Zakriev, born in 1969, from the village of Pobedinskoye. The kidnapped person worked as a labor teacher at school No. 27 in the Staropromyslovsky district of Grozny.

Around midnight, the village of Novye Aldy came under fire from large-caliber guns. Until the morning, local residents took refuge in the basements. During the shelling, 28-year-old Magomadova, who lived in Tsimlyansky lane, died. A two-year-old girl was left without a mother.
