Raul Arashukov, a former high-ranking employee of «Gazprom» sentenced to life imprisonment, complained about the impossibility to perform prayer prayers at night in the Moscow remand centre "Lefortovo". His son, ex-senator from Karachaevo-Cherkessia Rauf Arashukov, received a similar sentence. 
Lawyer Ekaterina Malinovskaya explained that according to the rules of the institution at night it is impossible to get out of bed. At the same time, Muslims now have a fast Ramadan during which they are allowed to drink and eat only until the first and after the last prayer.

Russian forces attacked populated areas in the Kherson region with controlled aerial bombs. At least 7 local residents were injured.

The Council of Europe published a 2022 report on the implementation of the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). Azerbaijan had 285 pending cases, compared with 235 in 2020. The remaining ones include materials against prominent activists: Anar Mamedli, Intigam Aliyev, Khadija Ismailova, Leyla Yunus, Arif Yunus, Ghiyas Ibrahimov and Bayram Mammadov. Full payment of fair compensation awarded by the ECHR in 2022 was made by the Azerbaijani authorities in 38 cases. Applicants in 45 cases are expected to pay in full, although the deadline set by the court has expired.

Ament Suleimanov, a civilian journalist from Crimea sentenced to 12 years of age, was taken into custody after house arrest. Because of many diseases, the presence of the Crimean Tatar in the colony threatens him with death.

The ECHR’s decision in 2019 to pay 10 million euros to Georgian citizens deported from Russia in 2006 has not yet been implemented. This was reported by the Council of Europe in its report on the implementation by member countries of the European Court of Human Rights ruling.

The security forces of Ingushetia are looking for four young men who, during a battle in the village of Zyazikov-Yurt, Malgobek district, killed three and wounded eight policemen.
The shooting started when law enforcement officers were making a manhunt in the village. In an empty house, they found wanted men who had attacked a DPS post in Ingushetia in late March. The last ones started shooting, the fight started. 

The long sentences in the colony, awarded to three natives of Dagestan, were provoked by a lot of media hype and a negative reaction against the accused. This was stated by the lawyer of one of them, Alexander Lopin. According to him, the video with the beating spread on the Internet, loud statements of users about «visitors» and publications in the press caused the case to be re-qualified for a more serious article and a harsh sentence.

FSB officers detained Abdullaliyim Dzhumamishiev, a resident of the HRC. He is accused of attacking a column of Russian equipment near the village of Chervenna, Shelkovsky District of Chechnya, as part of the field detachments of Shamil Basayev and Khattab during the second Russian-Chechen war, namely in 1999.

For Georgia to become an EU candidate country, all political forces will overcome extreme hostility and work together. This is stated in the report of the monitoring committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

In the village of Zyazikov-Yurt, Malgobey district, a group of men were found who were suspected of attacking the DPS post. When they tried to apprehend him, they opened fire on the security forces.
