The lowest vodka consumption in Russia is in the North Caucasus
The subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District are traditionally named the regions with the lowest vodka consumption in 2024. The minimum official sales were recorded in Chechnya - 0.05 liters per person (115 times less than the national average). In Ingushetia, the figure was 0.4 liters, in North Ossetia - 1.1 liters, in Kabardino-Balkaria and Dagestan - 1.2 liters, in Karachay-Cherkessia - 1.8 liters.
