Deputies of the People's Assembly of Ingushetia have appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin to defer military service for graduates who have completed higher or secondary technical education and found employment within a month of graduation. The deferment is expected to be for up to two years, but no later than until they reach the age of 30.

The Georgian opposition, non-governmental organizations, and civil society activists are planning a large-scale protest today, November 28, in support of the country's pro-European course and against the repressive policies of the ruling party. Exactly one year ago, the Georgian Dream party decided to suspend negotiations for the country's accession to the European Union. Since that day, protests in the capital have become daily occurrences.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) was shot down by air defense systems in North Ossetia over the village of Alkhanchurt. This was announced by the head of the republic, Sergei Menyailo, who recalled the ban on disseminating unofficial information about UAVs.

Izi Aliyev, a member of parliament and former head of the Social Fund, has been arrested in Dagestan. Investigators accuse him of organizing a criminal group that accepted bribes in 2023 for the illegal allocation of child benefits.

In Crimea, 74-year-old Crimean Tatar historian Enver Seitmemetov has been charged with equating the actions of the USSR with those of Nazi Germany. About ten security officers came to his home in Bakhchisaray and took him to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Center "E" in Simferopol.
