On the night of November 20, the village of Pobedinskoye came under artillery fire. One of the shells exploded near a checkpoint in the courtyard of a private house.

Argun has been subjected to mortar fire again over the past two days. Just like the day before, the main blow fell on Gudermesskaya Street. House No. 12, owned by Zara Gadieva, suffered the most. There were four young children inside at the time.

In the village of Avtury, the military captured several local residents. At about 9 p.m., 50-year-old Kharon Gandaev was kidnapped while returning from a neighbor living two houses down on his street. About three hours later, Zaur Sultanovich Abazov, born 1985, Zaurbek Vakhaevich Israpilov, born 1987 (1988), Ismail Sulimanovich Dakaev, born 1985, were kidnapped. The fifth person, Altemirov, about whom practically nothing is known except his last name, was taken away from the village later than everyone else.

At 10.30 on Zhukovsky Street in Grozny, near the “Banya” stop, unknown persons attempted to blow up an armored personnel carrier. The military opened random fire from machine guns in different directions. Whether intentionally or accidentally, a city bus on route 29 passing by also came under fire. The driver was seriously injured, but managed to drive the bus to safety and stop it. The name and place of residence of the deceased driver of the Memorial Human Rights Center are unknown.

Between approximately November 15 and 18, Russian soldiers, some of whom were wearing masks, took away Shakhran Shaptievich Zakriev, born in 1969, from the village of Pobedinskoye. The kidnapped person worked as a labor teacher at school No. 27 in the Staropromyslovsky district of Grozny.

Around midnight, the village of Novye Aldy came under fire from large-caliber guns. Until the morning, local residents took refuge in the basements. During the shelling, 28-year-old Magomadova, who lived in Tsimlyansky lane, died. A two-year-old girl was left without a mother.

For two days - November 12 and 13 - in the city of Argun, a “cleanup” was carried out in residential areas in the area of the sugar factory. Not a single person was allowed through the cordon during this time.

At 19.15 in Grozny on Beslanovskaya Street, a grenade was thrown into the courtyard of the house in which Galina Gonchar and her son Boris lived. Three or four people came in immediately after the explosion.

On the night of November 9 in the city of Argun, machine gun fire was heard in the area of Novaya and Zheleznodorozhnaya streets. Local residents did not pay much attention to the sounds of gunfire, since this often happens after dusk, but the events that unfolded further led to numerous civilian casualties.

On the night of November 8, six families were robbed in the village of Mayrtup. The criminals arrived in the village in several ZhZ-452 (“tabletka”) cars. Everyone was dressed in camouflage uniforms. Bursting into the houses of civilians, they demanded gold and money in pure Russian. That evening there was no light in the village for unknown reasons, and this played into the hands of the robbers.
