The United States is disappointed by the Georgian parliament's decision to promote the Kremlin-inspired law on foreign agents. This was stated by US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller.

It obliges foreign-funded non-governmental organizations and media to register in a special register and fill out annual declarations.
