A new criminal case was opened against the deputy head of the Tatar-Bashkir service of Radio Liberty, Alsu Kurmasheva, under an article about military “fakes”. The reason was a book that the accused published in November 2022. It contains 40 stories of Russians opposing the war in Ukraine.
