The Second Western Military Court in Moscow sentenced Dagestan Gazi Isayev, former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kizlyar district, to life imprisonment. He was accused of aiding and abetting acts of terrorism in the Moscow metro. He pleaded not guilty, calling all charges false and falsified. 

The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the 9th anniversary of the annexation of Crimea. We reaffirm our support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Investigative agencies have changed the accusation against Chechen native Zelimkhan Mazayev. He is accused of transferring money to supporters of the extremist ISIS group. He was previously accused of creating the NVF.

The Southern Military Court in Rostov rejected the defence request to return to the Prosecutor’s Office the criminal case concerning the murder of Ibrahim Eljarkiev, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Centre for Combating Extremism.

In 35 regions of the Russian Federation began to actively distribute summons for arrival at military commissariats. Among them is Dagestan. This was stated in the human rights group «Agora».

As a result of shelling in the Donetsk region, 2 civilians were killed and 8 were injured. Kherson was shelled, 1 person was wounded.
 

Attempts by Armenian Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan to interfere in Baku’s dialogue with the Armenian residents and disregard of Azerbaijani sovereignty over the Karabakh region are unacceptable. This was stated by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Aikhan Hajizade.

EU Chairman Charles Michel noted the efforts of European countries to prevent the circumvention of sanctions against Russia and the importance of such a policy on the part of Tbilisi.

The attempt of the Georgian government to adopt an analogue of the Russian law on «foreign agents» was not successful. This was opposed at the mass rallies by the people of the country. This position was expressed at the hearings of the European Parliament. 

Russian occupiers shelled the city of Marganets, Dnepropetrovsk region, one of the shells hit a children's playground. As a result of the shelling, there were casualties and deaths - all civilians.
