On the eve of the Parliament building in the center of Tbilisi the action "Together in Europe" was held. Its organizer is the largest opposition party of Georgia, the "United National Movement". 

Poverty and despair force the Russian population to take loans on a permanent basis. On 7-8 April 1995, during the first Russian-Chechen war, Russian troops, conducting a sweep of the village of Samashki, Achkhoy-Martanovsky district, killed, according to various estimates, at least 100 civilians. This number was reported by the United Nations Commission on Human Rights. The International Committee of the Red Cross announced the death of 250 civilians.
