In 2022, liquor sales in Chechnya fell by 42%. However, in Ingushetia, according to the Russian Alcohol Regulation, they increased by 26.4%. In Karachay-Cherkessia the growth was 23.9%, in Kabardino-Balkaria - 13.3%, in North Ossetia - 11.6%, in Stavropol territory - 8.1%, in Dagestan - 4.8%. 

The largest share of informal (shadow) employment of the population of the Russian Federation is found in Ingushetia (54%), Dagestan (51%) and Kabardino-Balkaria (48%), according to Rosstat. Most often, such workers work in the areas of trade and repair of vehicles.

According to the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, Ingushetia and Chechnya depend on receipts from the federal center for 83% and 81%. This is the highest rate among the regions. Tuva is also among the top three subsidy countries - 80.5%.

The RIA North Caucasus Republic News ranked the lowest on average wages in small and medium settlements. The worst situation is in Chechnya, where earnings are 24,000 rubles.

Chechnya and Ingushetia are the most independent of the countries that have declared sanctions against Russia. Analysts of the Statistical Research Institute of HSE believe that these subsidized regions are poorly involved in the international division of labour and have practically no developed real sector - mechanical engineering, automotive, pharmaceutical, high-tech production. 

Chechnya and Dagestan topped the list of regions of the Russian Federation with the largest share of cross-subsidized electricity.  

In Russia, following the results of 2022, the average and large enterprises of six regions lost money. Almost all of them belong to the SFD.

Inflation in February amounted to 11.46%. This is slightly higher than the increase in prices in Russia as a whole (10.9%), according to the Central Bank of Russia.

Foreign trade turnover between Georgia and Russia for two months of 2023 amounted to 467.1 million dollars. This is 70% higher than the level of January-February 2022.

The highest incomes in the CSRF regions are recorded in the civil service. In KCR, officials earn an average of 45 thousand. rubles per month, in CBR and Ingushetia - 46 thousand. rubles, in Chechnya - 47 thousand. rubles. Similarly - in Dagestan and North Ossetia. So says RIA Novosti.
