The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry condemned the burning of the Turkish flag that took place on April 23 in Yerevan during a torchlight procession. The Tbilisi City Court found former Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze guilty of abuse of office and money laundering and sentenced him to 10 years in prison. Bacho (Elguja) Bebia, a 32-year-old Georgian volunteer fighting in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, died in Mykolaiv. His family said that after the outbreak of the "SVO," he, himself a displaced person from Sukhumi, voluntarily went to the front, declaring his determination to defend his home at any cost.
