The relatives of students from Ingushetia, Malik and Ramazan Gandaloev, who disappeared on 27 February, began to search for them themselves. They toured the route the brothers travelled, asking about them at Astrakhan Medical University.

The third day of the protest rally in the center of Tbilisi was relatively quiet. People burned the Russian flag and issued a new ultimatum to the authorities: resign.

On March 9, the ruling Georgian Dream party and the pro-government parliamentary group Power of the People announced that they were withdrawing the bill “On transparency in the financing of external influence,” which had already passed its first reading in parliament and caused loud protests from the opposition.

Relatives of missing students from Ingushetia Malik and Ramazan Gandaloevs announced a reward of 1 million rubles for information about their location. They were previously wanted by the police. 

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky supported the participants of protests at the Parliament of Georgia, which also brought Ukrainian flags. " This respect for Ukraine, and I want to express sincere respect for Georgia," he said.
 

According to the local Ministry of Internal Affairs, about 50 employees of the department were injured. Several of them required surgery. Demonstrators in Tbilisi damaged cars, special equipment, set fire to the Parliament building, broke windows and broke security fences.

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili supported the protesters on Rustaveli Avenue against the draft law on foreign agents. She again announced that she would veto the bill. 

In Tbilisi, opponents of the law on foreign agents continue to protest. They have returned to the parliament building.
Today MPs have to make a decision to submit to the plenary session two bills on foreign agents - the Georgian and American versions. The legislature has strengthened security measures and restricted movement inside the building.

According to the results of 2022, the least alcohol consumption was found in the regions of the Northern Federal District. In Chechnya, 0.1 liters of strong alcohol were sold per capita, in Ingushetia, 0.5 liters, in Kabardino-Balkaria, 1 liter in North Ossetia, 1.1 liter in Dagestan, 1.5 liter in Karachay-Cherkessia.
