Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said relations between Azerbaijan and the United States have reached their highest level since the two countries established diplomatic ties 34 years ago.
In a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump marking the anniversary of the Washington Summit, Aliyev described the Aug. 8, 2025 meeting as a turning point both for Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization and for bilateral relations between Baku and Washington.
