The European Court communicated the complaints concerning the natives of Chechnya. This was reported by «Team against Torture».

The Soviet district court of Makhachkala sentenced local resident Muhamed-Afandi Asipov to two years' suspended imprisonment. He was found guilty of inflicting life- or health-threatening violence on a police officer at a rally against mobilization. 

On March 23, the Fifth Court of Cassation in Pyatigorsk approved the decision on the administrative claim of a native of Chechnya, Mansur Razhaev, against colony No. 6 in the Khabarovsk Territory, where he is serving a life sentence. The prisoner sued the colony administration for 3 thousand rubles for violating the conditions of detention.

Azerbaijan People’s Front party activist Zamin Salayev continues his hunger strike in Baku remand centre for 45 days. He lost 30 kilos and often loses consciousness. 

According to counsel, Salaev is still not under medical supervision and has not been transferred to a medical unit. As for the two visits of the Ombudsman to SIZO, they were unsuccessful.

Recall that Zamin Salaev demands the release and termination of the fabricated criminal case against him. He was arrested on 8 February on charges of hooliganism and use of force. Salaev stated that the accusation against him was false: he did not attack anyone, but defended against an unknown passer-by with a knife.

After detaining Malik Gandaloev, a student from Ingushetia, and his friend from Dagestan, Arsen Gammadov, the security forces discovered a cache containing personal belongings and an improvised explosive device with destructive elements. 

Earlier forced to leave Russia opposition activist and opponent of the war with Ukraine Arshak Makichyan said that the Russian authorities banned the entry of his brother and father. Both - for 50 years, which is in fact a life sentence. In this case, they did not engage in any opposition activities.

Law enforcement agencies of Ingushetia detained three students of the Astrakhan Medcademia. They were reported missing and suspected of planning a terrorist attack.

The court has filed a claim for compensation for moral suffering in the amount of 300 million rubles from Ismail Eljarkiev. The demands were directed to the accused of killing his brothers, one of whom was Ibrahim Eljarkiev, head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Centre for Combating Extremism. Ismail Eljarkiev is recognized as a civil plaintiff. 

The Leninsky District Court of Vladikavkaz dismissed the claim of Zemfira Tskaeva to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for compensation of moral damage in the amount of 15 million rubles. The woman is the widow of Vladimir Tskayev who was murdered in 2015.

The refusal to open a criminal investigation into the torture of actor Timur Debyshev of the Grozny Russian Drama Theatre is legal. This decision was made by the Staropromyslovsky District Court of Grozny, as reported by «Team against Torture».
