Azerbaijani Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva visited the former leaders of Nagorno-Karabakh in the pretrial detention center of the State Security Service. She received and listened to Ruben Vardanyan, Arayik Harutyunyan, Arkady Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, David Babayan and other prisoners, who are called "Karabakh separatists" in Baku.

The European Court of Human Rights has upheld the complaint of Novaya Gazeta and its employees, filed in connection with threats from the Chechen leadership. The ECHR awarded the corresponding compensation: 7,500 euros to the newspaper, 9,800 euros each to its directors Dmitry Muratov and Sergei Kozheurov, as well as journalist Elena Milashina.

The Irkutsk Regional Court issued 12 sentences in the case of the riot of prisoners in IK-15 in Angarsk. Among the defendants is Chechen Khumay Khaidayev, sentenced to 17 years. He and the others were found guilty under Parts 1 and 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (mass riots) and Part 3 of Article 321 of the Criminal Code (disorganization of the activities of institutions that ensure isolation from society).
