Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, along with President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan, honored the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire by visiting the Tsitsernakaberd memorial.

A devastating flood in Dagestan has resulted in massive landslides, affecting more than 6,000 people and 25 communities. The disaster destroyed several roads and damaged approximately 200 homes. More than 3,000 people in the Derbent and Tsumadinsky districts were left without gas due to damaged utility lines. The main causes of the disaster are believed to be abnormally heavy rainfall, which oversaturated the soil, as well as aggravating factors such as chaotic construction and worn-out utility lines.

One of three individuals detained in Tbilisi on charges of espionage was 27-year-old Tamaz Goloev (Goloti), a native of Akhalgori, a town in the territory of South Ossetia not controlled by Georgian authorities. This was reported by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty's Georgian service.

Grigol Gegelia, a member of the opposition party "Lelo – Strong Georgia," sharply criticized Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze following his statement about the possible "summoning" of the EU ambassador.

The Tbilisi City Court found former Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze guilty of abuse of office and money laundering and sentenced him to 10 years in prison. He was also ordered to forfeit his property—a plot of land and a house in Spain, as well as a house and parking space in the village of Tskneti. Upon his release, he will be banned from holding public office for two years.

With the parliamentary elections in Armenia scheduled for June 7 approaching, opposition forces are deciding whether to participate. Two parties – Strong Armenia and Wings of Unity – have officially submitted their applications to the Central Election Commission.

Speaking at the "Georgia in Focus" photography exhibition in Brussels, the EU Ambassador to Georgia, Pavel Gerchinsky, reiterated his concern about the country's European course. He stated that Georgia "stands at a crossroads," and decisions made in the coming weeks and months will determine its future: whether it will become part of the European family based on democracy and human rights or "return to its dark past."

Bacho (Elguja) Bebia, a 32-year-old Georgian volunteer fighting in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, died in Mykolaiv. His family said that after the outbreak of the "SVO," he, himself a displaced person from Sukhumi, voluntarily went to the front, declaring his determination to defend his home at any cost.

According to the Dagestan Ministry of Emergency Situations, all garden plots and residential buildings in the region have been cleared of floodwater. However, work to fully restore utilities continues: power has been restored in one village, and gas and water in four.

According to the Chechen opposition movement NIYSO, a new wave of mass detentions and raids is underway in the republic. Reports of this are coming in from various districts of Chechnya.
