In the Untsukul District of Dagestan, the search for a young man who drowned in the Irganai Reservoir continues for the fourth day. The Republic's Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported on the progress of the rescue operation.

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has revoked the Russian citizenship of eight people whom the agency considers a threat to national security. They include residents of Adygea and Stavropol Region, as well as two people from the South Caucasus. In a statement published on August 29, the FSB said the decisions were made jointly with the Interior Ministry under the law “On Citizenship of the Russian Federation.”

Grigol Gegelia, one of the leaders of the Strong Georgia - Lelo opposition coalition, stated that the country's authorities must respond to the possible increase in the number of Russian citizens crossing into Georgia through the Upper Lars checkpoint. According to him, "tens of thousands of Russians have flocked" to the border in search of "new refuge," including amid reports of a possible mobilization in Russia.

On the night of August 29, the Rostov region came under a massive drone attack. According to Governor Yury Slyusar, seven people were injured, including two children. In Aksay, an Ozon logistics center and a DNS warehouse were hit. Ozon confirmed that one of its logistics centers in the Rostov region had come under a drone attack. Employees had been evacuated in advance, so none of them were injured.

Armenia plans to begin regular shipments of fresh fruit and vegetables to the United Arab Emirates in September. At the initial stage, export volumes could reach up to 40 tonnes a week.
