Human Rights Center “Memorial” became aware of the kidnapping and subsequent disappearance of four residents of the village of Geldagan: three brothers Muzaev and their relative (the degree of relationship between them is unknown to Human Rights Center “Memorial”). All this happened back in May 2001.

Advisor to the mufti, founder of the Insan Foundation and head of the reconciliation department of the Muftiate of Dagestan, Magomed-Rasul Saaduev, was dismissed from his position.

The lawyer of a native of Chechnya, Mansur Movlaev, filed a statement of violence with the National Center for the Prevention of Torture of Kyrgyzstan. The document states that the prisoner was beaten by security forces in the pre-trial detention center.

The courts of Dagestan arrested eight participants in the pogrom at Makhachkala airport for eight days. All punishments were imposed under the article on “obstructing transport infrastructure” during an uncoordinated rally (Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code). Two more participants were assigned 60 hours of compulsory work due to “health conditions” under the same article.

In Ingushetia, FSB officers detained several local activists. They spread false information on social networks about the arrival of a flight from Israel at Magas airport on November 1 and called on fellow citizens to riot. This is reported on the department's website.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has published final data on the number of victims of Azerbaijan's military attack on Nagorno-Karabakh. More than 200 people were killed during the fighting, including 9 civilians (including 3 children). More than 300 people were injured, including 231 military and 80 civilians.

In the village of Novye Aldy, a well-known person in Chechnya, Muslim authority Magomed Dolkaev, was killed. His body was found in Tsimlyansky Lane not far from his home. The body of the deceased has traces of bullet wounds: four shots were fired in the head.

A demonstration in support of Palestine took place in the city of Marneuli in southern Georgia. About 100 participants held Palestinian flags and recited prayers. As the akhund (head of the Muslim clergy) of the Marneuli Red Mosque Gadzhi Gadzhiev noted, people gathered in order to “raise their voices against the Zionist Israeli regime” and against the torture of the “oppressed Palestinian population.”

The Israeli authorities assessed the level of danger for their citizens’ stay in the North Caucasus and the South of the Russian Federation as maximum (fourth) and urged them not to visit these regions.

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, gave advice to local security forces on how to deal with the instigators of unrest. “If we have even one person going to unsanctioned riots, detain and imprison him. Or fire three warning shots in the air and after that, if the person does not comply with the law, fire the fourth shot in the forehead. They won't come out anymore. This is my order,” Kadyrov told the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard at a meeting in the government of the republic.
