On May 5, the Khimki Magistrate Court arrested 23-year-old resident of Derbent Ulker Gashimova, who tried to leave Russia to seek political asylum in the Netherlands, where her fiancé lives.

The owner of the private military company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, released a video in which he showed the corpses of PMC soldiers and blamed Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov for their deaths. According to him, soldiers are dying due to lack of ammunition.

Lefortovo district court of Moscow arrested Crimean Tatar citizen of Ukraine Leni Umerova in a case of espionage (article 276 CC). She was held for more than five months in Vladikavkaz, from where she was taken to Moscow today.
