The Presnensky District Court of Moscow arrested Timur Idalov, a lawyer from Chechnya, until June 10. He was charged under art. 318, para. 1, of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation the day before (threat of violence against a representative of the authorities). 
At the trial, Idalov said that the accusation against him was fabricated by the FSB with the help of the investigative authorities. 

As a result of the Russian strike on the city of Slavyansk, Donetsk region, eight people were killed. 21 people were injured. Among the dead was a two-year-old child who died in the ambulance.

On April 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on electronic summonses and restrictions for draft dodgers. Before this, the bill quickly passed two readings in the State Duma and was approved by the Federation Council.

The Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don granted the prosecutor’s request to extend the arrest to activists from Crimea Rustem Tairovu, Zavor Abdullayev, Jebbar Bekirov and Rustem Murasov. Political prisoners of the Crimean Tatars will remain in detention until 23 July.

On April 13, the Russian government gave a negative response to the amendments proposed by the Chechen parliament to the federal law “On Combating Extremist Activities” concerning collections of hadiths and works of canonical Islamic schools.

On April 13, the Presnensky Court of Moscow arrested lawyer Timur Idalov for two months for allegedly threatening the prosecutor with violence. The arrested person stated that the charges were fabricated by the investigation at the direction of the FSB.

Activist of the Azerbaijan People’s Front party Zamin Salayev is on a hunger strike for 65 days in Baku SIZO. He is in a serious condition.
