The Armenian Parliament will likely approve the bill on the republic's accession to the European Union. This was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.

A criminal case against a 19-year-old resident of Makhachkala, accused of murdering a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Magomed Mutayev, has been transferred to court. 19-year-old Nadirkhan Kadirkhanov is charged with murder (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and illegal acquisition and possession of weapons (Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Five defendants in the case of hostage-taking in the Rostov-on-Don pretrial detention center are suspected of preparing a terrorist attack in Ingushetia. This was reported by the press service of the UFSB for the Rostov Region.
