The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine proposed to officially change the name of Georgia to Sakartvelo, the self-name of the country used by Georgians. The purpose of such a decision is to contribute to the rapprochement of the two countries and get rid of the «Russified» name. 

Today, in a speech dedicated to the celebration of Georgia's Independence Day, President Salome Zurabishvili criticized the country's government. According to her, the ruling Georgian Dream party and the government are making concessions to Russia and moving away from Europe.

The collapse of Russia will happen, and it will begin with the North Caucasus. Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, stated this in an interview with Deutsche Welle.

On May 25, a trilateral meeting of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia took place in Moscow. The North Atlantic Alliance expects Georgia to implement international sanctions. “We expect non-NATO countries, including Georgia, to comply with the sanctions that make it harder for Russia to wage a war of conquest against Ukraine,” NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan plays along with Baku's policy and leads the Armenian people not to peace, but to a new, more brutal war. This statement was made by the Union of Armenians of Russia.

After the victory, Crimea should become a national-territorial unit that will forever remain an integral part of Ukraine. This was stated by the chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov during a conference in the European Parliament.
