Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said relations between Azerbaijan and the United States have reached their highest level since the two countries established diplomatic ties 34 years ago.

According to the Dagestan branch of Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM), emergency power outages had affected 77 settlements in 11 districts as of 10:50 a.m. Moscow time. Earlier that morning, officials reported outages in 51 settlements across seven districts, including Untsukulsky, Akushinsky, Tabasaransky, Kulinsky and Gunibsky.

Three members of the Amaev family who died in the Sunzha River a day earlier were laid to rest on August 10 in the village of Samashki in Chechnya’s Sernovodsky district.
