Mikhail Smolin, who was called a pillar of modern conservatism, has died in Russia.

State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin has called for the memory of the USSR General Secretary Joseph Stalin to be perpetuated. He stated that Stalin, as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, made a decisive contribution to the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Deputy Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces and commander of the volunteer formation "Akhmat" Apti Alaudinov believes it is necessary to toughen the punishment for inciting ethnic and religious hatred in Russia. In his statement, he emphasized that "not a single criminal should be named by nationality, because crime has no nationality."

The last 15 patients who were treated after mass poisoning by drinking water have been discharged from the hospital in the Magaramkent district of Dagestan. In total, 450 people sought medical treatment as a result of the outbreak of acute intestinal infection that affected five villages of the municipality. Mostly children were affected - 422 out of 450 people poisoned by drinking water.

A court in Cherkessk sentenced five members of the organization "Citizens of the USSR", banned in the Russian Federation, to 5-8 years in a general regime penal colony. Another four were given suspended sentences.

The FSB announced the detention of two 15-year-old teenagers in North Ossetia suspected of preparing an attack on law enforcement officers. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against them under articles on preparing a terrorist attack and undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities.

The Minister of the Chechen Republic for National Policy, Press and Information, Akhmed Dudayev, criticized those spreading information that the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, has disappeared from the public eye. In his Telegram channel, he expressed dissatisfaction with representatives of "near-journalistic circles", calling them "spineless creatures", "liberals" and "traitors to the people".

In the Stavropol Territory, in the city of Nevinnomyssk, a court sentenced four residents of Dagestan, finding them guilty of desecrating the Eternal Flame memorial. The young people received real prison terms - up to 2.5 years of imprisonment in a penal colony.

A mass brawl between natives of Chechnya and Ingushetia on one side and, presumably, members of the nationalist organization "Russian Community" on the other took place in Krasnozavodsk, Moscow Region.
