The last 15 patients who were treated after mass poisoning by drinking water have been discharged from the hospital in the Magaramkent district of Dagestan. In total, 450 people sought medical treatment as a result of the outbreak of acute intestinal infection that affected five villages of the municipality. Mostly children were affected - 422 out of 450 people poisoned by drinking water.

A court in Cherkessk sentenced five members of the organization "Citizens of the USSR", banned in the Russian Federation, to 5-8 years in a general regime penal colony. Another four were given suspended sentences.

The FSB announced the detention of two 15-year-old teenagers in North Ossetia suspected of preparing an attack on law enforcement officers. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against them under articles on preparing a terrorist attack and undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities.

Over the past four days, 372 people with intestinal infection symptoms have been identified after drinking drinking water in the Magaramkent district of Dagestan. 357 of them are minors. 97 people were hospitalized with gastroenteritis.
