The CSTO has not responded to numerous statements about threats to the security of Armenia. Now Yerevan is diversifying its security relations, looking for new partners, new arms suppliers. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in the country's parliament.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that he will not be able to take part in the meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council on November 23 in Minsk.

Armenia should in the future withdraw from the CSTO, EAEU and CIS and continue relations with Russia exclusively in a bilateral format. This point is contained in the declaration of the forum “Strategic Future: Armenia-Europe”, which took place in Brussels.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky thanked Azerbaijan for its assistance in the energy sector. The day before, Azerbaijan sent Ukraine another batch of humanitarian aid worth $7.6 million.

The European Commission has published a report on Georgia’s implementation of 12 recommendations necessary to continue European integration and join the European Union. Based on the conclusion, on December 14-15, the European Council will make a final decision on granting Georgia status.

On September 19, Azerbaijan announced the start of "local anti-terrorist measures" in Nagorno-Karabakh and began a massive shelling of its territory. By the end of the month, more than 100,000 Armenians left the unrecognized republic and fled to Armenia. NKR President Samvel Shahramanyan signed a decree on the termination of the republic's existence from January 1, 2024.

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili proposed making changes to the state order and creating a bicameral parliament. The head of state noted that there is no “real self-government” in the country.

On October 24, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced the formation of a new Chechen battalion named after Sheikh Mansur, which will fight as part of the Russian Defense Ministry. On October 26, another new unit was announced – the Baysangur Benoevsky Rosgvardia battalion.

On September 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding state awards to a number of Russian figures. Among them is the daughter of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, Minister of Culture Ayshat Kadyrova. She was awarded the medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the 2nd degree. The decree notes her "services in the development of national culture and art, many years of fruitful creative activity."

Opposition members of the Georgian parliament appealed to NATO and the EU to “take a firm and united position against Russia’s ongoing policy of occupation and annexation.” They called for a response to the placement of a permanent base for the Russian navy in the Abkhaz port of Ochamchira.
