Negotiations have started in the Azerbaijani Yevlakh on the terms of the transition of Nagorno-Karabakh to the full control of Azerbaijan.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with his associates at the height of protests near the government of the country, writes the Hraparak publication. He made it clear to his team that he would not resign and would retain power at any cost.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Yerevan does not understand the clauses on the “withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces” from the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh. Yerevan did not participate “in the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Karabakh.”

Through the mediation of the command of the Russian peacekeepers, an agreement was reached to cease hostilities in Karabakh. A truce was declared from 13:00 on September 20, Armenian media write.

Moscow is concerned about the sharp escalation of tensions in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

Armenia has not received information from the Russian Federation about Azerbaijan’s plans to begin military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Yerevan expects Russian peacekeepers to take action to stabilize the situation.

Azerbaijan began “anti-terrorist measures” of a local nature in Karabakh to restore the constitutional order. Baku also accused Armenia of shelling its positions and closed its airspace.

The Constitutional Court of Georgia accepted for consideration a motion to impeach the country's President Salome Zurabishvili. The conclusion will be submitted to parliament within a month.
