A conference dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Mountainous Republic is being held in Kyiv.

On May 28, Azerbaijan celebrates Independence Day. On this day, 105 years ago, the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR) or the Azerbaijan People's Republic (APR) was proclaimed.

Around 14 hours in Alkhan-Yurt village of Urus-Martanovsky district, the Russian military shot and killed two young people.

On May 26, 2001, at dawn, officers of the local VOVD broke into the home of Yunus Makayev, a fighter of the OMON of the Chechen Republic, who lives in the city of Urus-Martan on Bolnichnaya Street. The policemen were rude.

On May 26, the FSB and the Investigative Committee of Russia announced the detention of three former militants from the so-called “Kabardian jamaat” in Kabardino-Balkaria. According to investigators, Anzor Batyrov, Aslanbek Kazanchev and Taimuraz Nakusov, as part of the group of Shamil Basayev and Khattab, participated in the attack on Pskov paratroopers in 2000.

At night, Russia shelled the Ukrainian city of Dnepr, the Donetsk and Nikolaev regions, and Ukraine – the Belgorod region. A drone was shot down in Krasnodar, causing destruction.
