On June 10, Euler analysts published a study titled "Regional Labor Markets in Maps and Graphs." After examining Rosstat data for 2024 and 2023, they concluded that the highest concentration of available labor is found in the North Caucasus Federal District.

On May 12, the RIA Rating agency published a ranking of Russian regions based on salary trends. Using statistical data, researchers calculated how many years it would take for each region to earn half its workers 100,000 rubles per month. Seven regions of the North Caucasus were in the bottom ten.

Within four years, thanks to the implementation of investment projects and increased tax collection, Ingushetia may leave the list of subsidized regions. This was stated by the head of the republic, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, at a session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

Over the first five months of 2025, the commissioning of new housing in the North Caucasus Federal District decreased by 28.5% to 3.1 million square meters. The most pronounced negative dynamics are in Dagestan, where the figure fell almost threefold (to 624.9 thousand square meters).

The regions of the North Caucasus Federal District produced 22.1 thousand tons of lamb in the first three months of 2025. This is 11.5% more than in the same period of 2024.

The ratio of the median (average) income of the population of Ingushetia to the cost of a fixed set of goods and services is only 1.13, and a quarter of the population lives below the poverty line. The republic occupies the last, 85th place among the regions of the country in this indicator, according to RIA Novosti data.
